Terms & Community Guidelines
1. Who may submit
You must be at least 18 and submit a review only about a property you personally rented or occupied as a tenant. You must provide genuine proof of tenancy for verification.
2. What “tenancy verified” means
We verify evidence that the reviewer rented the property. We do not independently certify every statement, opinion, allegation or conclusion in a review.
3. Community Guidelines
Reviews should describe the rental experience and the property. Do not submit:
- threats, harassment, hate or discriminatory attacks;
- phone numbers, private email addresses, bank information, government ID information or other unnecessary personal data;
- irrelevant information about a landlord’s family, health, private life or other third parties;
- content you know to be false, fabricated or materially misleading;
- unsupported criminal accusations stated as established fact;
- impersonation, spam, advertising, extortion or attempts to manipulate ratings/votes;
- content that is unlawful or infringes another person’s rights.
You may describe what happened to you, distinguish facts from opinions, and explain disputes in fair and specific language.
4. Proof and privacy
Upload only what is needed to establish the tenancy. Redact unrelated sensitive information. Raw proof is private and subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.
5. Publication and moderation
Submission does not guarantee publication. We may reject, edit for privacy/safety, temporarily restrict, or remove content that breaches these rules or applicable law. We aim to make moderation decisions diligently and without favouring landlords or tenants simply because of their role.
6. Reports and illegal-content notices
Anyone may report a specific review. Formal illegal-content notices should identify the exact content, explain why it is alleged to be unlawful, provide the required contact information, and include a good-faith accuracy statement. Ordinary reports do not automatically hide a review. A serious report alleging illegal content, a privacy/personal-data issue, or serious threats/harassment requires email confirmation and may temporarily hide the review while moderation is pending.
7. Corrections, withdrawal and disputes
A reviewer may ask to correct or withdraw their review. A person affected by a review may report it and provide relevant information. Where we restrict content and have a usable contact channel for the contributor, we aim to explain the decision and available way to challenge it.
8. Voting
Voting is a lightweight community feature, not an election or a factual-verification mechanism. Automated voting, multiple identities created to inflate votes, coordinated manipulation and attempts to bypass anti-abuse controls are prohibited. We may exclude suspicious votes.
9. Licence
By requesting publication, you grant JustToBeSure a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, format and reproduce the submitted review as needed to operate the service, subject to your applicable privacy and withdrawal rights.
10. No professional advice
Reviews are user-generated experiences. The service does not provide legal, financial, building-inspection or professional property advice. Users should perform their own due diligence before entering a lease.
11. Availability and changes
Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued. These terms may be updated. Mandatory consumer and other applicable laws remain unaffected.
